Would like to know a good place to watch the gf in Melbourne? I am a newly converted league fan and really want to cheer the Storm boys on with other fans

Some of the stuff on this page should help
Flying up Sat morn. A bit of shopping no doubt. Aisle 146 (booked as soon as tix went on sale months ago), after match party at Allphones, anybody want to bet how long before players appear (was anybody else there for the 99 aftermatch 'party' at the Olympic Stadium, can they remember who put in an, all to brief, appearance?) Fly back monday and straight into a late starting shift at work. Eyeballs hanging out of my head, Yeah hah! Bugger driving, been there, done that, (several times), never again.

I was there at the 99 afterparty and because of the corporate and media committments 95% of the players couldn`t get to the after party, but it was still great to celebrate with fellow STORM supporters.

Driving up Saturday Morning. Checking in at our hotel then watching the AFL Grand Final. Got Tickets to the Thunder squad Section. Then going to the after party. Then Driving Back Monday. Cant Wait So Excited And Nervous!!!
Unfortunately September is a very sad time of year for me - last September my husband died. He LOVED Storm. Everyone that knew him, knew that Steve = Storm, they were forever linked. He died 5 days before the Warriors game last year - I went to that game and cried the entire game. It was just inconceivable that I was at a Storm game without Steve?!?!?
This year I tore myself apart trying to decide whether I would go to the Grand Final or not (We had travelled up for the 06, 07 and 08 Grand Finals - memorable times for lots of different reasons!). In the end I decided that I was just too emotionally fragile to do it....it would not be the same without Steve and it would be incredibly upsetting for me, so I will be watching the game with family and friends in Melbourne with a heavy heart.
I hope my Storm boys get over the line for lots of reasons, but I really hope they win for Steve, gone too soon, only 44 and missed enormously. He would have been so proud of 'his boys' coming back from the black days of 2010 to make the Grand Final in 2012.
Sorry to bring a downer on such a great achievement......GO STORM!!
I'll be cheering from Melbourne and I will be at the Player of the Year awards the following Friday.
