From a purely selfish POV i'd rather have the game on Saturday night given it's easier in regards to not having to rush straight to work. Though more importantly from a team perspective i'm glad it's on Friday. If we were to win and go onto the GF an extra day to freshen up and recover can only be an advantage.
So, do I have this right? The Afl appears to have priority over when, and which ground they use, in Nsw.. How the hell can the Nrl say that they are in a great position nationally when they can't even dictate when finals are going to be played in their home state. I couldn't see the Afl allowing it to happen here in Vic.
