Very good effort again, but just dropped away and let in some very soft tries at the end which was disappointing. Come on Storm, don't drop your bundle like that.

Quinny and Chambers were terrific (I hope Quinny gets off his report for his high tackle). Forwards again made excellent metres (how good are Vave and Ryles going). Hoffy and Widdop have found their feet finally after a slow start (I was getting worried about them for a bit in the first couple of weeks). Duffie was good (especially his try) but the only thing that let him down was he didn't contest the bomb which led to the Knights first try through McManus. Lowrie is in career best form and Hinchy had his typical solid game. Big 3 just keep doing their business week after week (Coops and Cam's kicking game were brilliant, especially Coops' 40/20 at the start of the game and Billy got yet another try, unluckly not to make it five consecutive doubles. The rate he is scoring them this year he is going to get about 25-30).

I also hope Sika's injury isn't serious and he recovers by next week. The Storm missed him out there when he went off.

Bellamy is going to rip the lads a new arsehole for that second half where they let in 3 soft tries. He WON'T be happy.

Aside from that...wow, when Coops nailed that 40-20 with his first kick I never doubted the result. Ryles continues to impress me and prove me wrong and so does Chambers. Bellamy will have plenty of selection headaches when O'Neill and Blair get back!

Highlight of the night; mate, how good is Billy going? That hit on Uate to deny him in the first half was PHENOMENAL! If Uate scores the Knights are in the game 110% but Bill was equal to it and it just sums up their whole night.

As for Newcastle, my God! Boyd was made to look totally pedestrian. I have all the time in the world for him but Coops and Cam picked him apart with their kicking game. He was shut out completely and in doing so guaranteed a win. If he's that rubbish WITH Bennett as his coach I shudder to think how bad he'd be without him! He'll bounce back for sure but FMD he was terrible tonight!

Now, Danny Buderus: well, he's down the casino putting his money in the pokies like the pensioner he is. If he plays Origin like a lot of people are tipping Queensland will deadset win every game by 50! He's been off having a paid holiday in England and is barely fit for the NRL let alone the toughest brand of ANY football code in the world. He'll be remembered for two things when his career is over: a) the bloke who used to pass the ball to Andrew Johns and foremost b) Cameron Smith's bitch.

What a game! Will the replay still be on Nine's main channel? Watching the Broncos vs Dragons game on Gem ATM but would love to see the game again!

They're saying Sika will go in for scans of course, but they reckon it could be up to 6 weeks off for him... :-(

Have been a little disappointed with between 11 and 12,000 the last two weeks particularly after a good crowd v the Rabbitohs.

Agree with what everyone has said am loving Ryles and Vave off the bench. Fell in love with Vave watching him play NSW Cup for the Sharks last year and was pumped when Peter Mulholland told me during one of the telecasts that he had signed with the Storm. He made an error or two but also seems to be in the right place at the right time - he snaffled a misdirected offload from Rylesy when he first came on and somehow pulled Uate down from behind near end of the match.

According to Fox Sports News, Sika is set to miss between 4 and 6 weeks. So unfortunately for him he will miss the test match. Who do you think the Storm will replace him with? Will they bring Kostjasyn onto the bench? I hope not will mean we will be a little small. So if you don't do that do you bring in Greenfield (if fit) or Lowe? Or do you pick a young forward like Harris, K. Bromwich or Garbutt?

I am thinking Craig will either pick Rory or Lowe. I would love to see Tohu get a chance.

That is also one of the bugbears of having games showed live too...some people opt for the cheaper option of watching at home. Imo it's better to have a delayed broadcast of home games so people can take advantage of the live experience then watch the game again a bit later. Live away games are awesome though!

Seriously no disrespect to either of Woolnough or Lowe but if we had Vave and Ryles coming off the bench last year instead of them we would have won the competition. Both of them are extremely good. Also how good is it that we don't even really have to worry about if Quinn gets suspended for a few weeks, so much depth we don't need to worry.

Bring in Garbutt (him, Vave and Ryles would be a huge bench), KP can go into the back row to replace Sika.

Those last 15 minutes were a disgrace. Training will not be fun this wek.

As for Billy yes he deserves all the praise he gets but that last try was on him as he had one of those BS brain explosion moments. Just take the tackle. No need to throw the ball to no one.

I have got to say young GW is really starting to look like a true 5/8th isnt he.
Hoffie is starting to look like he did many years ago when he was amongst the best backrowers in the game.
Will is good. He has earned his starting spot and I am thinking that JON will soon complete what will be one of the best backlines in the game.
Loving Vave and Ryles.
Cooper was superb in conducting the orchestra again.

Just one quick thing. Do you realize that we have won over 80% of our games over last season and a bit.

Yeah this teams success was all about cheating the cap. I mean it isn't like that Bellamy guy can coach or anything.... ;) ;) ;) ;)
