the main reason we lost against the warriors was because cronk had a shocker. We got down their end enough but his kicking game was terrible

His kicking game has always been just above average despite his reputation imo.

As much as I love him and want him to stay, he is a little too predictable.

I guess Blair and Chambers will have to play out of their skins in reserve grade...honestly thought TOOD LOWRIE!!!! he is the worst player ever. I hope we don't resign him beyond this season he is useless.

Don't think we need Lowrie and Hinchcliffe in the same team. Not sure why we are bothering with Quinn again, was Bellamy not watching how average he was during the back end of last season. Maurice Blair deserves to be in there. Hopefully Craig is just slowly getting Chambers back into it otherwise why did he buy him?

It is round 1 so I guess we should expect a few surprises.

The biggest is the ommission of Bobby Blair and the relegation of Proctor to the bench.

I have to believe their form or fitness simply isnt up to where it needs to be.

In time - I hope to see both Blair and Chambers in the starting backline (at expense of Quinn and Nielsen or Duffie) and Proctor starting at the expense of Lowrie.

Lowrie must be the Storm's hardest trainer because I swear to good he adds nothing for us in attack!

I totally agree mate I think if we wanted to use Quinn in the back row we could. He is still a decent winger..but not one of our best. I really thought Blair played well for us. And yes I think Chambers is just gonna have to work his way back in the team. I really did like chambers but he is like Neilson in defense and can score a try. his hands are sloppy tho but you can't win them all. I am happy with o'niel in the team. last year he was very unfit at the back end of games so I hope that has been fixed.

TOOD LOWRIE! AWFUL why do i have to go through the pain of watching him play. ARGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH just play Hinchy at 13 and make some room for a forward on the bench or maybe blair?

WOW! I'm a little shocked that Quinn and Lowrie are starting (Seriously Hinchcliffe & Proctor behind Lowrie???) But overall it's pretty solid, liking Vave & Greenfield off the bench & LOVE O'Neill in the centres. Can't wait for Saturday.

Here is what I think of the line-up:

Pros:
At last we get to see how Justin O'Neill performs in the centres. I think he will own the number 4 jersey this year.
I don't care what anybody says about Quinny, but he deserves his spot ahead of Waqa. He has plenty of experience.

Cons:
I know Bellyache will keep selecting him, but Dane Nielsen is a spud. WHERE IS WILL CHAMBERS???????? The club didn't buy him to play in the NSW Cup.
Put Hoffy on the bench, I know he is popular but he shouldn't just walk back into the team and reclaim his old number 12 jersey ahead of Proctor.
Todd Lowrie at lock ahead of Hinchy, WHY?????????? And why is Lowrie in the side while Kostjasyn is 19th man?
Waqa as 18th man - this spot would have been better used for another big forward, not a fringe winger.

im just happy for Siosaia Vave after chatting to him in hobart and at the storm launch he told me he was close after ryles was injured so i hope he does stay on the bench as well as greenfield both those guys played out of their skin in tassie

and as for the other guys in the team LoWrie and Danger well thats just Bluuuhh
