Listening now and we are getting smashed by Canberra 23-10.

Just after typing this Hoffy has just scored a try. 23-14 with a missed conversion.

Wouldnt worry about the score.

The Raiders season rests on this result, not ours

True Michael,

Final score : Canberra 27 Storm 18

Over 6,500 in attendance...they were expecting 3,000 so that's excellent showup for a league trial.

I wouldn't worry about the result, it's just a trial and it has nothing to do with the season proper. Just as long as no one was injured i'm happy.

Bit of a strange decision though to give Todd Lowrie the goal kicking duties as mentioned above.

Official crowd listed as 6,583 and an interview post game with Kevvie Walters, who co-coached the side with David Kidwell, said that there were no injury concerns, then he said there was just the usual bumps and bruises although Quinny left the game due to a knock. Sounded like it was more precautionary than anything.

Couldn't care less about the result, especially since we had a dew handy players missing. I'm more hoping that some blokes on the fringes of selection really stuck their hand up and gives Bellyache plenty of selection headaches come round 1.
