12. Paul Bell (1998-99) (39 games, 12 tries) – One of the more forgotten players, Paul Bell was the Storm’s inaugural centre in 1998 who came to the club as a veteran journeyman (having played at Cronulla, Western Suburbs and Perth). Bell had a very consistent year in ’98 and played 25 games, but in ’99 he would lose his spot in the team for most of the year due to young centre Aaron Moule’s very good form. Bell left the Storm and joined Leeds in 2000 before retiring.

11. Wayne Evans (1998-2000) (32 games, 2 tries) – Prop/Second Rower Evans was another foundation player who had a solid first season for the Storm, but had a quieter second year and found himself on the fringes. He only played three games in 2000 before joining the Northern Eagles in 2001 and later the London Broncos in the ESL in 2002 before disappearing from rugby league. (I remember watching the Round 3, 2000 game against Canberra and Evans walked over to a Raiders player after they had been tackled and kicked him - i'm pretty sure he was suspended for a few weeks due to this incident and this would end up being his last game for the Storm).
