The knowledge that he *should* play out his whole career at Melbourne Storm sends chills down my spine. What a champion, what a gentleman, so humble and so talented.

To think we still have YEARS of his career to look forward to.

This lies at the heart of why we deserve those titles and what other teams fans or Gallop and his henchmen cant or dont want to comprehend. We didnt win those title because we paid to hold onto the likes of Turner, White, Newton, Quinn, Hoffman etc.

We won because we have the greatest 9 ever, the greatest fullback of the modern era, a young center who'll probably become at least the best in his postion ever and one of the great generals of all time in Cooper.

We could have surrounded them with the Altona Roosters and we still would have went close

Actually I locky started that and karmichael hunt refined it. However billy shits on karmichael and locky moved to 6 before he hit his peak. Its what billy doe's defensively that makes hm so great imo.
