I think we may see Cronk move back to the bench just before kick off. This way he may come on about half an hour in and still get some time to get the cob webs out and reduce the risk of re-injury.

^^ that will be the lineup, or close to it anyway ^^

I'd love to see Kite, at the very least, get a run. Maybe even Afamasaga, Niko and Fonua too. A bit of NRL experience would be good for these guys should we need them in the finals.
I like the idea of playing Coops off the bench. He's not worth risking in this match, but a 30min stretch to blow his lungs out would probably do him good.
Is Bobby definately fit from his injury?

Hopefully kite or afamasaga gets a run.
Would love to see one of them get a go?

sign niko up and then give him a run so no one can offer him big/desperate money after 1 game

I was setting my IQ today to record this game and Sunday's looking like a good footy day. Our game is being shown as if it were a Monday night game with the Pre-game show, match, and then Monday night post game show. Then the League Lounge will follow that.
A good couple of hours there, following the other two matches earlier in the day.

What time is our game scheduled? Is it similar how MNF runs?

It's not the time to blood new players me thinks. Sorry for fans of Niku, Kite, Afamasaga etc etc.

We can cover the absences of Blair and Manu and Waqa with experienced players used this season. Its now vital that we polish up our form and our combinations.

Best possible team for Sunday is:

1. Slater
2. Duffie
3. Nielsen
4. Blair
5. Quinn
6. Widd Dup (according to Channel 9's Rabs anyway)
7. Cronk

8. Norrie
9. Smith
10. Bromwich
11. Proctor
12. Hinchcliffe
13. Lowrie

14. Lowe
15. Woolnough
16. Kostjasyn
17. Vea

Btw - is Troy Thompson fit? If so, I might suggest Thompson gets another chance at cracking the squad, rather than Vea. He was impressive in the few games he had, and we do need another big experienced body running around to cover Blair.

At the end of the day, Adam Blair may not have been setting the world on fire, but we all know Blair is our most aggressive player. He's the kind of guy that will inspire confidence in his teammates. His absence will be felt, but I for one would like to see Jaiman Lowe step up and play the aggressive role in the team - as long as he controls it!

Go Storm! Bring that minor premiership back to Melbourne. If Gallop thought he was in for a rough reception before Friday's game, its just got ramped up to 11.

10. Bryan Norrie

Maurice Blair still not fit? Could be Champion's last game? We should send him in if any fights break out, he's most expendable. haha!!

i going to say if we dont get injuries that champion has already played his last game in purple, its the best time to give m.blair a run before the finals.

Solid team still considering the drama that is going on

Id leave Champion in. If Blair is fit id play him in the forwards, he would offer something with the ball, Hinchy to lock. Lowrie to the bench and drop off Vea, Lowe or Woolnough.

Get rid of Champion when Manu is back
