The Sydney media don't give us credit In public but in private they rate us and are scared we will win it. Ran into Gary Freeman at a pub after the game last night he said we are a massive chance to win it and confirmed for me what I already knew that Warren Smith hates us. They should make Smith present the minor premiership to us if we win it.

Great win last night we are building nicely. If we win all the other games and 1 out of the 2 against the Dragons and Manly we should finish top or 2nd to stay at home through the finals.

The wizz and Gordy are pretty good media people. They generally dont take sides and their comments fair and unbiased.
I find Gary Belcher to be quite good too. He clearly loves his former club Raiders, but he doesn't trash-talk other sides like Smith, Stirling, Voss, etc do.

Yeah the Canberra Raiders beating St merge has helped us for sure. Only really between us and the Sea Eagles for the minor premiership now as 5 points I feel is too much of a gap for the Dragons to catch up. Manly didn't play good against the Panthers on Sunday, we are definitely the form team of the comp at the moment!

Not only that, they showed where to beat them - up the middle and go for the 80 mins. Plus we have the advantage in that right across the paddock we have the ability to finish even if they belatedly try to fix up their weaknesses.
