New avatar
While I wouldn`t normally think that a new avatar is worthy of starting a new topic I just wanted to make sure as I grabbed this one from a newspaper article. I hope nobody minds but I rather liked it. If there`s a copyright issue or whatever I`m happy to remove it but I just thought it was cool. Cheers

I was going to set it up as my Avatar a little later on when I had time.
Great image ! Nice choice.
Hearing Craig talk about the story of the Spartans defending against all odds and seeing that avatar....made me decide to watch the movie "300" tonight after watching the boys tear the Shoncos a new one.
Loved the bit about the Spartans being able to drop the spear from their right hand if absolutely necessary but NEVER being allowed to drop their shield from their left hand as it was used to provide protection and defence for the man to their left...and so on down the line.
WOW....INSPIRATIONAL STUFF.
Sounds just like the Melbourne Storm defensive line.
Thanks Stormspirit, I was thinking much the same thing. I`ve read about the Battle of Thermopylae before although I might try to find that book and give it a go. I loved the movie 300 so as soon as I saw the image and read the article I thought it summed up Bellamy`s approach ( and therefore the teams) to defence and teamwork really well. I was just hoping I`d beat everyone to the punch
