MELBOURNE Storm chief executive Ron Gauci says he is disgusted at scalpers trying to auction
$1 tickets to the club's final home game this weekend for well over $100.

More than 15,500 tickets for Sunday's clash against Newcastle at AAMI Park were sold last week
and the match is a sell-out.

Storm made the $1 ticket offer for the game, the final match for several departing players, to thank
fans for their support during the salary cap crisis and will donate all proceeds to Ovarian Cancer Australia.

But six eBay ticket auctions are being held by scalpers offering the cheap tickets. In one, the bidding
for a set of four tickets that cost $8.95 to purchase (including booking fee) had reached $162.50 last
night, a mark-up of more than 1700 per cent.

Another two auctions had also passed $100 for four tickets and one scalper boasted "if you wanna buy
3 then it's $49.99 times 3", just under 50 times each ticket's face value.
