I'm not sure about Kidwell being a big signing as he struggled to find a club.
Michael Jennings was chased by the club not long before he played first grade, if you remember John
Lang left the club.
Moi Moi's manager actually forged his signature didn't he? We thought we'd signed him but wasn't to be I guess .

Clint Newton and Finch(GF's and SOO's) are Stars imo.

But they don't fit what I consider the criteria for this thread due to being given a lifeline rather than be persued to change clubs.

Scooter,those 3 are the only stars at some point during theyre career i can name as ExPat melbourne players because i cant remember any others who
were playing elsewhere as stars and signed with storm,making 2010 a pretty ridiculous premiership as i cant think of a marquee player who signed for you

Crocker was never a star,more of a thug who crossed the line from mongrel(Choc,Bird,Gallen,Ennis) to absolute dog (Sandow,Farah,Webb)
