It seems every year we lose a lot of players, this year being particularly bad.  Makes me think of the Stars we have signed.  Are we the only club to have never signed a true star?

1998 Star signings: Glen Lazarus, Tawera Nikau, Robbie Ross, Rodney Howe(that worked out well, good start Rodney)
1999 Star signings: Stephen Kearney
2006 Star signings: Michael Crocker

We have been the best rugby league breeding ground for the last seven years, when are we gonna get some love.

Dreaming Wishlist: Sam Burgess, Dave Taylor, Fui Fui Moi Moi, Benji Marshall(as Finchys replacement), Isaac luke(this kid is good), Lebron Inglis(F$#k :x)

Other than that I wouldn't want anyone.  We have the best of the rest

The 199 signings were good signings, even Rodney Howe. Crocker was a pretty good signing, pity he had to move on.
Off that wishlist of yours, Burgess - Yes, Taylor - No not at this stage, Moi Moi - DEF no, Marshall - DEF yes, Luke - Yes... Inglis - I refuse to comment on atm 'til I've calmed down.

I'd like Bronson Harrison rather than Lowrie, but that's jus' me at a guess. And Michael Gordon would look good kicking goals out on the Wing...

Given that statement & the hunger,(greed) shown by some Northern cattle for our 'breeding stock'. WHY bring in outside stock from their herds ?
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields

Wow that is quite a list.  Manu Vatuvei would have been awesome can't believe we didn't sign him.  Bellamy would make him an unstoppable monster.  I gather Mitchell pearce would have been a 5/8.

We picked Ox up from you after you dumped him for Kimmorley.  How many games did he get with you?  Obviously Manly didn't think he was a star.

Kimmorley came with some great skill - I don't think he would have been seen as a star - a potential star though.

Finch may not have been a star, but he was a known 'good' player

Orford had played 11 games with the Northern Eagles before he joined the Storm. I am not quite sure how that constitutes us signing a star.
