Chase Stanley would be the 5th I would imagine.....

Thompson, Kite and Vea maybe being reviewed as to what they can continue to add to the roster

I really hope that we can keep Kite ( in particular) and Thommo as I think that they both can contribute greatly when they have the opportunity and we need good front rowers. I would like to keep Vea as well but I suppose we have a reasonable stock of back rowers if they decide that we have to let one of the three go.

Incoming St George Illawarra
Dragons coach Steve Price ’s
recruitment drive for big and
aggressive forwards continues
with St George junior Atelea Vea
joining the Dragons next
season .
Vea , 24 , a back -rower, spent his
youth playing for Hurstville
United before switching to
Cronulla Sharks where he made
his NRL debut in 2009.
Vea played eight games at the
Sharks before switching to
Melbourne Storm last year
where he missed a large chunk
of the season with a shoulder
injury.
He has played eight games for
the Storm this season.
The Dragons ’ forward pack were
criticised this season for lacking
punch. With Vea (102 kg) joining
North Queensland Cowboys
giant Leeson Ah Mau ( 108 kg),
Gold Coast Titans prop Will
Matthews ( 104 kg) and the New
Zealand Warriors ’ big man
Jeremy Latimore (109 kg) , Price
has looked to add some size
and muscle .
The Dragons lose Jon Green
(Sharks ) and Adam Cuthberston ,
who is likely to follow Wayne
Bennett and Darius Boyd to
Newcastle.
Vea is the second St George
junior back at the club next year
with Chase Stanley reuniting
with younger brother Kyle in the
Dragons’ top squad. Wests
Tigers’ utility back Tim Moltzen is
the other and the Dragons may
target one more outside back.

Its a shame we lost him.. I thought he was a really good player.
We don't seem to be hearing much signings? Its just been our players leaving?

Meet the 20-year-old butcher who knocked back the golden chance to play under Melbourne Storm master coach Craig Bellamy.

Softly spoken giant Peni Terepo decided instead to stick with the Parramatta Eels, a club in the doldrums.

Although there are three weeks of the season remaining, Eels officials are continuing to plan for next year by signing rampaging prop Terepo to a new two-year deal.

After being left red-faced by the failed recruitment of ageing trio Chris Walker, Carl Webb and Paul Whatuira – who have all since retired – the club is determined to pin its hopes on youth.

“Melbourne offered me a one-year deal, but the people I’ve met at Parramatta, and other people outside of footy, I wanted to stay,” Terepo said.

“Parramatta is like a second home now, and seeing players like Jacob Loko and Pat O’Hanlon, guys I played with in the Toyota Cup, I’d love to play with them and get up there [NRL] as well.

“I can see the change Steve Kearney and his boys have brought to the club. It’s all positive and you can see the club improving.”

Some say the 183cm, 106kg Terepo runs hard and hits like Fuifui Moimoi, the cult hero the youngster would love to model his game around.

That guy must have his head screwed on backwards to turn down a contract with storm. He will never win a premiereship now let alone reach his full potential.

Pricey was a top player & he did well with a Bennett side, but he ain't Craig & I doubt he'll get top effort from a lot of those young blokes in the 'goldfish bowl' that is the Emerald City :?

Meanwhile.......................Whomever pulls on the purple will get my support until they either leave or fall over 8)

I knew getting Hoffman back would be the end of Vea. He would have thought well I'm not gonna get a shot next year, I'm outta here. Disappointing. :(
