Peter Mahar has just made a statment, saying it is unclear with the court case will go ahead.

I am so angry about this and am seriously questioining supporting a News Limited controlled club. They are absolute scum of the highest order and are destroying the fabric of our club. If they expect the public to believe that the NL directors are not at fault, they're absolutely dreaming. I hope the court case can go ahead without the independents being on the board. Hopefully they realise its important that regardless of their stature, it's important that prominent Melbourne Storm supporters represent the  best interests of the players, coaching staff and supporters.
