Did anyone catch that Storm v Sea Eagles game from 99 on fox the other day? was great to see that 38 metere field goal by Noddy again and hear Lazo calling the game

How was the candy by Noddy for his second try?? Gold!!!
Any old games are worth watching for the support play of Robbie Ross!!

Its easy to forget how good Kimmorley was. I was only 12 at the time but he was brilliant. Rua was a pleasure to watch as always.

Really enjoyed watching it.
great for me who has only been a storm supporter since 2005 to see some of the players you more seasoned supporters mention on here (ross, roarty, Howe etc)
just my opinions......critique them, don't criticise me!!!

You should try and get hold of some of the old Storm games if you can ... there were some classic ones.
I just wish there was a station totally devoted to rugby league so we could all re-live these great games.

IS there anywhere you can purchase old games from? I know the AFL hasw name a game does the NRL have anything like that?

Did anyone catch the game v sharks @ cronulla? One of the best Ive seen! Kearney was unstoppable and Ross was so reliable. It's easy to forget how good they were.

Yes I did and taped it as well.
Kearney has to be up there with Nikau as one of my favourite ever players.

Kearney was magnificent. I agree re: Ross as well. It is too easy to remember how his career was cut short by injury but he was a wonderful full back in his prime. I loved the comment (from Blocker I think) when Ross scored from Kearney's offload that "he lives in Kearney's pocket".

Also the "wonderful" days of not receiving a penalty until the 75th or 76th minute.
