I really hope that Cronk gets another appearance, but with Thurston in the team, who knows...

Pity DJ misses out.

I 'spose they think they will score so much they don't need to tackle.

Congrats to all.  Great for the players but this number of representative players puts enormous pressure on the salary cap.  Will be interesting to see whether the Storm management have allowed enough extra dollars in the planning for this amount of players.  I really believe there should be an additional allowance for representative payments but until there is it is a double edged sword.
Ahhh McGahan; you've done it agahan....

I'm pretty sure their payments for rep games don't come under individual clubs salary cap however if it
is in their contract to obtain bonus payments for rep selection then it would but I think you would expect
Storm would know which players were likely to gain selection and would've allowed for than in those
players contracts.

How it can also affect the salary cap is more so in the future when players re-negotiate their contracts.
If they've become a rep player since their last contract then its likely they would try to negotiate a better
deal because they've become a rep player.

Well thats my understanding of things anyway.

kiwi squad looks good on paper. but then again so does south sydney's roster next year but i'd be surprised if they're still in the hunt come finals time.

and as for DJ, isn't Hindy's availability not a certainty yet due to injury? I'm sure Dallas would be next in line..
watch out barret you poof
scott hill is not behind you in that way.

I'm as happy as anyone to see White selected, he sure deserves it.

However he has 2 major hurdles to get over first

1. His shoulder ... he will be seeking a medical clearance for that
2. His wedding ... Brett is due to be married in 2 weeks and would have to make a late appearance over there ... and I can't imagine his wife would see a Kangaroo tour as an acceptable honeymoon  :P

Still don't know why Dallas isn't there ... there is no tougher man in the NRL.

Sounded like a very large Trojan horse was attempted to be placed in the Storm camp by the Sydney media mafia again. Access denied!
