Right, jobs done this year , awesome effort.

Now next year - we lose zap (big loss), chamber(moderate loss) and tomane(low loss) and gain quinn and sika back plus Chase stanley. So my question is whats the next season going to hold. I would say that their are 4+ od the Toyato cup squad good enough (Luke Kelly, Gereth Widdup, Matt Duffie, Dane Chisolm,Rocco is a monster) but the question is will they ne able to get game time ahead of Billy Finchy etc. Hope so as they have heaps of talent.

I reckon top 4 is still the minimum to be aimed for, we have the talent and depth to back it up.

Who else will be their - i reckon the Eels again will be good, though i bet next year is their one last shot. Even though they are signing Poore, Tahu etc I would think Cayless and Hindmarsh will retire after next season and a few others are the wrong side of 28 plus - at least the strrm are still a young team - you could even argue that with the main guys still 23-25 we have yet to peak at our best potential. My bet is 2010 or bust for the Eels.

Dragon - i reckon they will be mid table, after the let down I dont see them being able to step up again. Broncos could be bottom 4 they way they are going!. Like the Eels, the Sea Eagles I reckon have one more year, once Orford goes they are shot.

Bulldogs for me will push us, Bunnies (maybe), they have on paper a talented squad (though Dandow is a defensive liability).

We have a an excellent draw, only playing once against a lot of this years top 8 - so roll on a fifth grand final.

Right, off to England to watch the Rhinos in the final - hope the celebrations here are awesome, shame I cant make them.

GO Storm :)

Oh for sure we will be around the top again next season.

Quinn and Sika return we bring in the likes of Stanley, Kite, Vaea with the under 20 boys coming along very nicely i think something would have to go wrong for us not to get a top 3 spot.

Potentially , we could be better next year,

I think Stanley will be better than Chambers with time in our system,

Zap is a  loss,he has played well the second half of the year,  so is Lima, but we have recruited some new forwards and Tandy has improved out of sight,

And  there will also be improvement in the younger players , I'm optimistic we could be better next year than this year.

Inneresting that the club is still not officially talking about Jeff Lima as a "loss" from the GF side.

He is obviously the class clown and well liked by the team.

Maybe Mr Bellamy is not so keen to lose him.

But all other points are well made....by rights the team should "POTENTIALLY" be stronger next year, but how that actually translates will be crucial.

Finchy being with the team this year and settled next year from Round 1 will be absolutely gold. ;D

Was Proctor even that super impressive when he was not injured? Lowrie went missing in the grand final has been good and consistant for the Eels

Body language to me says he (Lima) is gone.

Don't wanna start any rumours but there may be a small possibility Jake Webster may be back.
