I thought Cooper was best of field, Blair was awesome as was Hoffy!!
Slater was awesome too, no one played badly.

Parra got shutdown, didn't have a plan B and were outsmarted and outplayed by a much better side.
Watching from the grand stand the boys had it all over them.
"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha

I loved Finchy's comment at the press conference - that he had put himself in position to take the FG and GI shoved him out of the way .... According to Finch he said 'Outa the way old man' ... but that may have been a little ad lib from one of the NRL's best jokers.

Oh ... and I'm pissed that I forgot to take a pic of it, but my points for best banner at the GF goes to a group behind the Southern goal line whose banner read

THESE GRAND FINALS ARE GETTING EXPENSIVE

A few other thoughts about the GF

As always I was pissed that during the minutes silence for the victims of the Samoan Tusnami a number of yobbos (as always happened) had to screm out .... Thank christ all that was heard were cries of "Go Parra" ... our fans are a step above the rest.

Limas dedication to Samoa as he passed the mic on stage almost brought a tear to my eye

Generally I was impressed with most of the Parramatta fans after the game - I spoke with a few and they were very magnanamous and I didn't see any of the asshole-like behavior of Bronco and Manly supporters.

I was unable to get into the change rooms after the game this time ... it was really full and they were being damn tight on security.... I almost got Danny Greens media pass from him, but he gave it to a Parra fan ... Oh well, them's the breaks.

On a plus, as I left via the underground carpark I was passing the Murray's busses to get to Acer Arena when I look through the windscreen and see the trophy being weilded by Ryan Hinchcliff with a big grin on his face, and behind him was the whole team (I almost missed them because you cant see shit thru those tinted windows on the side) ... I managed to jump aboard and shake some hands, unfortunatly both my phone was dead by that time from excessive calls and my SLR was dead from too many pics so I have no keepsake of that experience.

Yep, from the start you could tell that Parra's whole razzle dazzle was not going to win them this game but they live and die by it and it looks fantastic when its sticking and they started to get it going towards the end by overall our consistant structured game wins out in the end.

God I am stuffed and I didn't even go up for the game.

Went to the League Of Our Own event at the Limerick Arms Hotel in South Melbourne. Got there just before 12pm, a reasonable turnout, wasn't full but. Quite a mix of supporters, majority naturally were Storm supporters but there were also quite a few Eels and Tigers supporters there along with a Dragons, Raiders & Broncos supporter.

When Tommy Raudonikis rocked up I couldn't resist a "QUEEEEEEEEEEENSLANDEEEEEEEEEER" yell. Gave him some stick for hating Victorians and for supporting the Silvertails last year.

They showed the Imparja feed until 4:30pm when they cut to Nein and then when Nein cut to the news they went back to the Imparja feed. All the supporters were great, no dramas with anyone at all. My only gripes with the day was that they cut the NSW Cup feed just after the players ran back out for the second half to show a Birth Of Origin DVD, and spending waaaaaay too much, I'm still hungover. I'm not sure how I didn't do myself an injury I was jumping around so much.

I left the pub at about 7:40pm and caught the tram back into the city where I bumped into a supporter that had been at the Live Event and then continued homewards before stopping off at my local where I continued celebrating into the wee hours.

Thats probably the first ever interview i've seen with Adam ??? i think.

He had a great game though, really stepped his game up to a new level this season.

Can't begin to say how much I love my team.  What a wonderful effort to win our 2nd g/f in 4 years.  What made it more special was watching the U/20's win in a nail biting game.

A magic day and night beginning at 2 packed rooms at Etihad and then ending up at the Crown Casino until 6am this morning...then off to Visy Park for the fans days.  Seeing the boys holding up the trophy made me feel so so proud of them.

GO THE MIGHTY STORM
