3 props on the bench ??? I think Hinchcliffe is a waste on bench if he's not going come on and play hooker because he has no impact off the bench.

Tandy will get a go....good. but still the nuffies are there.

Hinchcliffe is wasted on the bench...i like him and i like him at 5/8, at second row he isnt as effective (if at all).

why can't anyone get dropped? they put in a disgraceful effort like last night and the only change is injured Cross. No wonder players didn't care last night, they have no threat to losing there spot in the team

i still have no idea where we are going to get points from? looking at that backline.

Manly will have no fear looking at that lineup.

How long is Inglis suspended for?

Funny thing is hinchcliffe came into the game and we scored three tries against the knights, he's allright on the bench..the one thing i would change is tomane on the wing? i think brett anderson's proven he desrves a spot on the wing and should replace tomane..

i like him when he goes to hooker tho. I mean the 3 tries werent directly due to Ryan were they?.

tomane is meh, i think anderson is ok but still he has his moments aswell.

I don't have a problem with Hinchliffe off the bench, he's good to bring in with 20-25 minutes to go to take advantage of tired forwards like he did last night, i thought he was pretty good last night when he came on.

As for Tomane i think he has to been there, his ability to find the tryline or even create something from nothing would be 3rd best in our backline behind Slater and Inglis. Yes his defence is a major issue but its part of being a young kid who is targeted on the wing.  However Anderson has looked pretty good in limited chances this year, better then anything he has showed in the past...

We could always go

1. Slater
2. Turner
3. Chambers
4. Tomane
5. Anderson

Tomane is a big solid kid and would not look out of place one in from the wing, im sure he has played in the centres before...it may even help with his defence

Still sadly that 1-5 has no real fear factor to it, we need Inglis in that  :icon_frown:

We've got no mongrel at all.
Jeremy Smith - Gone
Mick Crocker - Gone
Ben Cross - Gone
Even Kaufusi was capable of putting on big shots. Our pack is soft, has no size and our defense has always been over-rated.
If Scott Anderson can get a start then we've got massive problems.
Slater is making way too many mistakes.
"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha

Do people not understand the team is not what it used to be because of the salary capThis is the reason named players have gone,Not because they wanted but because they could not be held onto.So i think its about time we got behind the team and backed them.Lets be fair we are in 4th position not 4th from bottom.

but look at the players we have:

Lima: played for his country, was one of the reasons we took one of the main reasons we took out the premiership.
Blair: Played for his country, was on fire at the start of the season...noone could stop him...was our best player for first few rounds IMHO
White: Played for his state, Hasnt set the world on fire but the past few years he has been solid for us.

sika Manu: Our best player this year...until you know what happened. He was carrying the entire pack on his back.

Yes its great that we are coming fourth, but thats due to other teams playing poorly and falling down the ladder. Even when we have won games we did not look great...we have been beaten by most of the top of the table teams. And we are still doing things wrong that we were doing in round 4. You cant go into the finals with this sort of up and down form....We have a ton of rep players in ourside...a ton of quality and junior players we should be winning more games....AND atleast competing right to the death in the ones we are losing...but we arent doing that.

Been 'getting behind the team' for a long time now  but I recognise lack of intensity & NOT playing to what has ALWAYS been one of the team's strengths DEFENCE !!

Star & rising star players have come & gone but the team dynamic remained because those coming through stepped up & senior players set an example. THAT IS NO LONGER THE CASE !!

This + a mounting injury count is what has us clinging precariously to 4th spot.
