Well Andersons got his starting spot, Im not a big fan of his. Whats doing with Lima? He doesnt seem to be rocketing out of a cannon like he used too! I also think Blair should just tuck the ball in and run straight and hard sometimes.
One thing I have noticed, we havent made many breaks down the middle of the field! When was the last time Slater scored under the posts after a line break? And whats the bet on how many times Turner will get the ball from Chambers, im guessing once, Really!!
I think we'll win confortably, the cowboys dont scare me.

"Better to have Won then Lost, than to have never won at all" Arrogant, but true hahahaha

If the Cowboys play like they did last week then we have how hands full, though they rarely put two good performances together.
Anderson being rewarded with more starts, dunno why. Blair or Lima should have that spot. I also think Matt Cross has fallen away a bit the last few weeks yet keeps his starting spot aswell. I guess with Sika out though Cross has noone really challenging him.

I suspect Bellamy has decided Lima is best off the bench, which is understandable. Dont know why Blair isnt straight back in the side though, IMO he's doesnt spend enough time on the park.

Anderson starting at jersey #8......that will fuggin do me!
I think Hinchey is a waste off the bench...unless he goes into hooker. His second row running is pretty weak.
I think we can win...we play differently at home. but who knows.

If I see another promo masquerading as entertainment re: i-mate, someone is going down.
Bani is out so Donald Malone is making his first grade debut...about time, watched this kid carve up game after game for the mighty Ipswich Jets last year. I remember the Storm were interested in him before he signed with the Cowboys, couldn't be pulled away from Qld though.
Interesting to see how he goes

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks this. I like him and all but is he specifically there to give Cam a 10 minute break??Super Cronk wrote: I think Hinchey is a waste off the bench...unless he goes into hooker. His second row running is pretty weak.
Hinchliffe was signed before Finch.
I Honestly think if we had Finch earlier we wouldn't have signed Hinchcliffe. Im sure he was signed so we could play Smith at 5/8 for parts of games.
But anyways we gotta make do with what we got now and Hinchey although being played out of position is still more solid utility depth off the bench

I thought Hinchcliffe would have a good impact, and while he has played well, he hasnt impacted Cams game as much as I thought it would. I reckon the era of carrying 2 speacialist hookers is coming to an end. Makes so much more sence to school one of your bench-backrowers et al to fill in the postion for the 10-15min that 9's are off the field these days.
We are not a team that needs to 2 hookers in the 17. Smith is a 80 minute player and to go with his huge importance to the team we don't need a specialist hooker on the bench.
I still believe you need a utility type player on the bench though, playing 4 big forwards is too much of a risk when someone in your 1-7 go down.

We need someone a bit like Cooper Cronk who can actually play just about anything. Hinchcliffe is only there for Cam, and possibly 5/8. You can't be telling me that if Billy, Hoffy or Greg get injured he could fill that gap. We look light in the forwards and with Hinchcliffe and Anderson both on the bench (except for this week) we look weak.
with hinchy comming, i thought it would be another season likew when we had friend and aubusson, they worked really well for us, shame it didnt reoccur this year

Im not saying Hinchcliffe would fill in at fullback or on the wing but he is just another useful player you can throw in the forwards to do a solid job while we put someone like Hoffman into the backline.I love Cooper wrote: We need someone a bit like Cooper Cronk who can actually play just about anything. Ummm yeah well I don't really mind, he hasn't done a lot wrong this year. I'd just prefer having another prop on the bench.
Anyway in regards to this game..... i'm feeling much more confident about this game!! And YES finally LIVE in QLD! lol
