Video refs ??? ???

At least two confusing decisions, which could have turned the game and blown it wide open in tonights game, and also last night.

Agreed completely. The refs were at their usual standard, but we were well below ours.

Is it just me, or did the boys look tired?

Yeah they did look pretty tired and no wonder, we only played on Monday nightwhereas the Bulldogs had an 8 day break.
Hope that's the reason the team looked like they didn't turn up.

Not an excuse, we played very ordinary and our attack looked about as dead as it was 5 weeks ago but that aside, the video ref made two very bad decisions tonight IMO. The video ref is there to get things right where there may be some confusion but these guys are continually making bad decisions and making things more confusing for the fans, the players and everyone else. At the rate of errors these guys are making we may as well do away with them and just toss a coin, heads its a try, tails its no try. At least then it would be a 50% chance of getting the correct call because at the moment the odds are against a correct decision.

* I am an advocate of having a video ref but we should all be expecting better results from them given the money they're paid and the technology at their disposal.

If it's any consolation, the U20s smashed the Bulldogs 54-30.

I wasn't trying to make excuses, I was just commenting on the consistent crappyness of the video refs, there was 1 controversial call to Bulldogs and one to Storm.
