The Bai stand is back in action this afternoon as former Melbourne greats, including Bai, make an appearance in a Men of League match at Caloundra. Players in action in half an hours time include Marcus Bai, Scott Hill, Matt Geyer and Paul Bell.

I only heard about it in a flyer I picked up at least weeks trial.

Wayne Evans is also here reminiscing about the Bai Stand and the Rusty Bawden School of Dance.

Ah! Wayne Evans, our partner in crime, when we acquired Rusty's London Broncos jersey up at Bluetongue Stadium when the Raiders played the London Broncos in a trial game a few years ago! memories! LOL!

Would be a fun game to watch!

Cheers

The Men of League team were able to put the Caloundra side to bed, courtesy of playing their full 18 man contingent in the final third.  The final few minutes featured some goal kicking from renowned toe-poker Danny Nutley and some chip and chase razzle dazzle from Bill Moore.

What started out as a 'contact game' - read two handed grab tackle - quickly turned into a full tackle as the old timers found their feet.  Ben Kennedy, listed as having played for Canberra, Newcastle and Malaney, could probably still play if a club had money to throw around.
