Sounds like a good emerging squad to me. I am keen to see Turner and Dyer play, and it is also great to see Dustin Cooper back playing. He showed some promise last season IMO

All I want to know is will it be on Channel Nein this year? There was nothing on Channel Nein last year.

NB: Hmm, stupid really, like Channel Nein would care about showing RL. I guess I'll miss it again, just have to read the reports on here from people that can actually make it to the event.

i was told that both days were going to be live on tv IN NSW but im not sure about down in melbourne tho.

Good to see McFatten finally playing in Storm colours, he has a hell of a lot of repaying to do this year. Also good to see some new faces in S.Turner, Dyer and Kaufusi. However I never heard of this Dyer guy, could someone in the know provide some info on him: where'd he come from? how old? what position? etc etc.


Will these matches be on foxtel at all? Also, when do they commence?

the games are being played on jan:24-25.next week at aussie stadium..they probaly wont be on fox live but may have a replay.

Luke Dyer joined the Storm at the end of last season from Penrith. He is predominantly a centre and is vying for a spot in the Storm's backline for the 2004 season. He is 22 years of age and is yet to make his NRL debut.

i have heard that he is good..but turner is really good.

I must admit I'm a little concerned about the speed amongst the team. I know we have some quick guys, but at the speed sevens is played at, can the bigger guys manage in the heat?

yeh good point fampa..but the game doesnt go for to long so they should manage.and there is a interchange but im not sure how it works tho.

In terms of pace, only Tanielu (out of the players their that I know anything about) would suffer from a lack of it. King, Cooper, Geyer and Turner (apparently) are all pretty quick.

im not sure about cooper still being fast,didnt hehave a leg injury?
but geyer and turner are fast and king isa bit fast.
kaufusi is a prop toisnt he?so he may find it hard.

I have no doubt in the speed of King, Turner and Dyer. Geyer even.

It's the big guys I'm worried about.
