Good News re Stew from the Banner Crew

Hi All, Just had an update from Rose re Stew, he is now up and walking with the assistance of a frame, still a way to go, he is on the waiting list for rehab in Frankston so fingers crossed Stew might be home for Christmas. 


Thanks to all on behalf of Rose and Stew for their thoughts and prayers and wishes.

Hi All, Just an update on Stew - after nearly 15 weeks he is off to Rehab tommorrow.  Unsure at this stage how long his recovery will be but fingers crossed he will be home for Christmas.

Hi Everyone!!!

The best Christmas present ever!!! :) :) :)

Stew is going home tomorrow, ie Saturday 13 December 2008 :D :D :D :D

At work this afternoon, the news came through from Rose, that after over 15 weeks in hospital, Stew is finally going home!! WOO HOO!! :D :D :D

I cried as I am sure many of the STORM supporters did too who got the news at the same time I did!

Stew has started his radiation treatment, but this can continue from home so tomorrow at 9am, Stew is walking out of Frankston Hospital!

He had a visit home yesterday with the OT to ensure all was fine for him to return and from all accounts Stormy and Thunder were just as excited as Rose to have their "Dad" coming home!

We wish you and Rose all the best and look forward to the new season with you back where you belong on the STORM banner crew!!

I don't know about the crying part but yes I was very happy to read the news. Fantastic news for Stewy & Rose!

Hey Stew  Congrates going home is great now all you have to do is  :laugh: get the body right for game 1 at visy park and make yourself look like this  ;-)

Great news!!! We've all been waiting a long time for this, I can only imagine how long its felt for Rose and Stew.
