sitting in the crowd at suncorp tonight, was definitely an experience, i was probably one of maybe 300 or 400 storm fans tops, in a see of broncos. We were in a small group in the south east corner.

we were gettin it from all corners, the ball boys, supporters and even the dam dress up horses. It was not until G.I. crossed the line i was able to relax and turn on all those bronco supporters and laugh in their face.

next time guys can u make your run a little earlier.

until next week

Werd, I'm never watched a longer game.

I was sensing full time approaching 57 minutes in, deadset.

Geez i hate Ennis.

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

The stress I was going through listening to the match online is nothing on what you went through Samo.  Kudos.

Ennis is a dog, soccer players don't even dive as much as what he does. He got what he deserved, especially when he hit Bill after the broncs second try.

Congrats to all those who went to suncorp. I can only imagine how hostile it would have been.
Cheers

The most annoying thing about the match from my perspective was a bar that ran right through my view of the field ... and it wasn't the good kind of bar either!

Yes, quite literally now.
As the teams were being announced I said 'Yay, he'll be a Bulldogs after tonight' when both he and Hannant were named.
I knew you guys wouldn't lose and from the time Hannant was held up in goal until GI scored I was thinking of what you did to the Bulldogs at Olympic Park in 2006.
It turned out to be a very similar game in the end.

Who are you replying to TS? Christa? The last try scorer in the Bulldogs game at OP in 2006 was Jake Webster.

2006 Round 16 against the Bulldogs at OP ended with a Cronk kick gathered by Hoffman and offloaded to Jake Webster, who scored the try.

That was another great win, great try. Another one of those games you are almost at the point of accepting defeat.

The ending of that Bulldogs game (Rd16 2006) got me off antidepressants - I kid you not.

That feeling alone was enough to make me a Storm fan for life.

I was sitting in the Lazarus Stand almost directly in front of Hoffman as he caught the ball (near the 20m line).  It was only the 3rd NRL game I'd ever been to in my life, despite having grown up in Sydney (the other two being Storm games in Rounds 13 and 15 in the previous weeks).  I never followed any sports prior to that, never having really understood that feeling when your team grinds out a really memorable win and how that can keep you motivated for the rest of the week (or in that case, for several years at least).
