He was walking gingerly (as you would) at the pool season this morning but it wasn't strapped at all.

They just had Hoffman on fox sports news, he seems pretty confident he will play some part in the finals. Thats great news if its the case.
Showed him at the pool session, looked sore but able to walk.
He's a tough bloke, it would take a bit to keep him out of the finals

its the best news we could ask for besides being 100% fit
Melbourne lock Dallas Johnson has been cleared of a serious knee injury, but still faces a difficult task to be fit for the Storm's NRL finals opener against New Zealand on Sunday.
Scans revealed Johnson had a grade two medial ligament strain after injuring his knee during the Storm's minor premiership-sealing win over Souths at Olympic Park on Sunday night.
But assistant coach Robbie Kearns said the club believes Johnson would miss one match at worst with the injury, and could even take his place against the Warriors.
"He's been a bit sore but there's no structural damage as I understand it," Kearns said.
Johnson is likely to be given until as late in the week as possible to prove his fitness to play the Warriors at Olympic Park.

Have just finished watching the replay of the match and you sure are right you could hear the crowd all groanSilkin Storm wrote: I think we all grimaced when he did on the replay
Fox Sports News are saying it's a grade 2 medial ligament strain which, these generally mean about 4 weeks on the sidelines however this injury is reported as being at the minor end of grade 2 so might only mean 2 weeks out. Storm medical staff think he may only miss the one week.

If all goes to plan, he misses the warriors game,
We get the following week off anyway,
then he is right to go for the last two games,
not that I'm intending to get too far ahead of myself,
Any news on turner?

Yeah, i'm with you Play the Ball - I'd expect him to miss this week, then assuming we can get the job done against the Warriors, bring him back for the prelim
Storming our way to glory!

with that type of injury, running straight lines is not a problem,
its when you have to twist and turm that causes problems,
Heard bellamy on SEN and he said Dallas is the toughest player he had anything to do with,
Under normal cicumstances he said they might leave it to the player to say if he was ok to play ,
But Dallas is too tough for his own good, they will leave it to the medicos to make a decision on this occasion.
