I was just thinking about the ticket sales for the Roosters game and how reserved seats were practically sold out and how the final round game will be Matt Geyer's last regular season game for the Storm and how well that should sell.

This got me thinking, what's the bet Storm's first home final will be played at Telstra Dome? A game at OP would be a certain capacity crowd. TD if booked for the Friday night with Victory playing there but it appears that the Saturday and Sunday are free.

My thoughts on this also stem from the Storm website advertising the Bunnies game as Geyer's last game at OP and wondering if they've already made the decision to play at TD.

could be another crowd of 21000+ (like the 1st Home Game vs North Sydney)

Nah these days security wont let stadiums go over capacity, no chance of breaking that i think

Hope not, but I guess it's possible.  That's the second week of AFL finals, so would depend on those results as to whether or not TD is avail on the Sunday, as if we finish 1st our final is Sunday arvo

NO Finals game for the STORM will be played at the Graveyard as it a NRL rule the stadium area has to have a minimum 25,000 capacity. Therefore any Finals game where the STORM are the home team will be held at either Telstra Dome or the MCG.

Will be there no matter where the games are held! :D

Did they change the rules this year Bunnies?

The last I heard was the 25k+ sized stadium only applied to weeks 2 & 3 of the finals, not week 1.

I could be wrong, but that is my understanding, stand corrected if that is the case, because week 1 at the Graveyard would be a great atmosphere and fire the boys up!! :D

I'm pretty sure that week 1 of the finals will be at OP as it was last year. Just as Manly will play at Brookevale and Sharks at Toyota. Then as Surandy said weeks 2 and 3 will be moved to the bigger venues. That is of course if they haven't changed the system but i doubt very much they would have.

Week 1 can be at OP, the same as last year, unless it's been changed, but haven't heard anything...
From week 2 onwards there needs to be min 25k capacity

Week 1 - Home Ground Finals
Week 2 - Home Region
Week 3 - Home State

Means clearly that week 1 is at OP, and week 2,3 will be at TD or similar.

If we were to lose week 1 - won't happen, just saying 'IF', then we lose any home ground advantage as the system rewards the previous weeks winners
