Billy Slater on Ch 7!!!
I really think the Melbourne Storm media people need to give Billy a few pointers about PROMOTING Melbourne Storm.
I didn't hear him say Storm once in the interview. And "Melbourne" was only mentioned two or three times. Majority of the interview he referred to Melbourne as "down there". Craig Bellamy never got a mention, plenty of discussion about him previously working for Gaye Waterhouse though.

Yes I've sid this before Surandy. Slater is one player that the club & media are pushing which is great for Storm but only if he uses that exposure to push the Storm a little, especially on a program thats watched by more than just the rugby league public. He doesn't need to speak about Storm in depth, just drop a few comments in here and there.

Yeah, I love Billy as much as everyone else, but I fear that he won't be a career Storm player (I was actually very surprised he re-signed with us already)... I can see him moving on to somewhere else where he'll be in the limelight and get the exposure that he seems to just eat up... somewhere possibly closer to his family, but more so where his club accomplishments are noticed all year round - not just around State of Origin time... (and I mean noticed by everyone, not just us Storm fanatics!). Of course, if we could get 15,000+ to our games, that may satisfy him!

I like Stevens, I actually find him quite funny, and honest. Like when he was bagging himself about sitting on the bench in origin 2How much of a nuffa is Jason Stevens
Storming our way to glory!

I rang the Storm today to make a suggestion that the Storm's media people coach Billy to actually say the club name and promote the team a bit more in future interviews.
Did anyone see last week's show? They said that Kirk Reynoldson was on. I didn't watch it as State Of Origin was on.

I thought the funniest things was Billy riding a horse through a drive through.
Out of everyone in the team, you could really see him doing it.
