Wait a minute. The competition was started in 1908, right? So they played that season so that is counted as a year. If you count one in 1908, two in 1909, etc it proves that 2007 was the 100th season, not 2008.storm_rhinos wrote: The guys at RF know whats going on because the grapgic designers who work for the storm presented their designs for next year to them. I was speaking to them before the finals in regard the away strip, which he said was popular because its white and signatures stand out, and that the clubs long term view is the home strip will be our 'traditional' jumper from now, much like the rooster, rabbitohs and doggies. The 100 year badge is because its the 100th season next year, and its a year long celebration

See, I'm a little bored with the current home jersey. It NEEDS a collar IMO!! And more yellow, ta very much. I was quite fond of the Fila design and loved the yellow away strip. There has been some pretty poxy away strips though.....

Its not really a year zero as they played the whole first season within the first year. That counts it as the first year top grade rugby league was played here making 2007 the 100th year of it, not 2008.

Sponsor free at the time and looked so clean and fresh.
I'll check through my old Storm Front Magazines (btw whatever happened to that Mag?) and see if there is a pic of the jersey

OFF TOPIC:
Going through the archives, I found this pic of RR's hit on Adrian Lam. Still one of the best hits made by a Storm player

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.
