I reckon 2007...they were always on the front foot and looked unbeatable. The 1999 team could've left their worst game till last after trailing 14-0 at half-time. Nuff said.

Hmmmm....

I reckon 2007...they were always on the front foot and looked unbeatable. The 1999 team could've left their worst game till last after trailing 14-0 at half-time. Nuff said.

I like 2007 team better. I doubt anyone from the Manly team will do a Mundine and say they were the real premiers and they were robbed. The barely made it in both all our finals wins in 1999, we were convincing winners in nearly all our games in 2007. There was no "luck" that helped us win it in 2007. Pure skill.

I mean its really hard to go past big lazzo, noddy, nikau, ross, bai etc. they were awesome for us in 99.

But i think this years team is better in some aspects, we didnt have the big names like lazarus, we had Brett white, jeremy smith and bencross (these players are by no means reserve graders), but to do it with such a young side and win it by as much as we did...really shows what a fantastic side this years was.

oh and because belly ache is a legend.
