Melbourne are currently sitting in fourth position and will stay there if Cronulla beat the Panthers.
If we had won last week we would be sitting in 2nd spot but with the Bulldogsand Broncos still to play

Only thanks to the bye.
That's one of the reasons I'd like to see an even number of teams in the comp, because the bye distorts the table.

It definatly does.
Nth Qld are sitting in 6th position having only won 5 games and lost 7.
On the other hand Cronulla are running 11th having won 7 games and lost 7.

It all ends up even after the 26 rounds. And the worst thing about the position on the ladder is the teams that we have lost to. Souths, Cronulla and the Warriors - 3 of the bottom 4 teams. That's disgraceful.
Glory, Glory to South Sydney!

It is disgraceful and to make matters worse we do it every year.
Last year we lost to Souths, Nth Qld and Manly.
