Rookie potential
Heard an interesting little story at the social club yesterday. A 20 year old from the Shepparton area had been signed by the Cowboys a couple of years ago, but didn't end up playing there because of the distance etc. He is currently playing park footy, and still burning up the grass - a staggering 10.1seconds over 100 metres.
The person telling me this contacted the club, and some video footage will be taken of the lad in action. If all goes well, could be a late bloomer, and a country boy at heart!

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

I think we should run a similar process to the yank game rookie camp we will unearth a wealth of talent just think of all the AFL hopefuls that may just go into camp (four weeks or so) just to see if they could get a start with league. Not to mention any other league player around that has not signed. Rugby League Idol.
