Storm v Bunnies @ Gosford
Haha. My cunning plan has come to fruition, and I have meetings in NSW next Friday and the Monday following.
So - oh dear, oh woe is me, alas poor TC - work commitments mean I must stay within an hour or so of Gosford next weekend. (and they pay for it) Whatever shall I do? *sigh* Yeah alright - maybe I am laying it on a bit thick
So, who's going? Where are you sitting? Would you like some company?

We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

How convenient, wish I had the chance for work to pay for me to go interstate.
I shall be there with Bunnies and her crew, Allykat and LR ... northern side in the GA area.

OMG!!! Does this mean that the 'get em on side ref....' call will not be a tribute but the actual call for this game??
Could you try to position yourself real close to a ground mic for it TC?

From what ive heard Billy has to see his specialist for the expected all-clear, whilst 'The Cronk' is likely to start off the bench.

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

Hearing Cooper on SEN this morning with KB, I don't think he sounded real confident of playing. In fact, I'd rather him miss one more than risk coming back too early and doing anything long term.
Storming our way to glory!

Definitely agree. Roy Aubusson did a good job as the stand in half back in our last match.steaming stormer wrote: In fact, I'd rather him miss one more than risk coming back too early and doing anything long term.
And Zappa is doing a brilliant job at fullback too.
IMHO, I would rest Billy and Coops for another week and have them ready for the Knights game next Monday

Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy has named a 17-man squad for this Saturday's Round 17 clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The game will be played at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford from 5:30pm.
After Melbourne had the bye last weekend, they extended their lead at the top of the NRL ladder to four points thanks to Manly's upset 26-22 loss to the Dragons.
Bellamy has named all five of his Origin representatives in the starting line-up, hoping they get through Wednesday's State-of-Origin clash in Brisbane unscathed.
Billy Slater returns from injury to take his place at fullback, having recovered from two facial fractures he sustained in the Storm's Round 11 clash against the Sea Eagles in Sydney.
Steve Turner, who has been deputising for Slater at fullback, will take his place on the wing.
With Cooper Cronk still suffering from an ankle injury, James Aubusson has been named to start at halfback.
Israel Folau has not recovered from the hamstring injury he sustained against St George-Illawarra and won't take his place in the squad.
Squad for Saturday's game:
Starting team:
1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Geyer
3. Matt King
4. Anthony Quinn
5. Steve Turner
6. Greg Inglis
7. James Aubusson
8. Ben Cross
9. Cameron Smith
10. Brett White
11. Clint Newton
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Dallas Johnson
Interchange:
14. Jeff Lima
15. Adam Blair
16. Jeremy Smith
17. Sam Tagataese
Coach: Craig Bellamy
