My bench would be;

14. Clint Newton (Jeremy Smith Starting)
15. Sam Tagataese
16. Adam Blair
17. Jeff Lima

There is no room/need for Anthong Quinn or James Aubusson on the bench. Ryan Hoffman can cover the backs if needed.

We've played our best football this year with Sammy T, Blair and Lima working in tandem. They feed off each others games so well. Their going to make a lethal combo for NZ. (Is Tagataese a kiwi?)

I read an article recently about the salary cap and Matt Geyer, sorry I don't have a link, and there was mention that Storm look to be in trouble with the salary cap this year as Jeff Lima is on incentive payments for each match he plays (I'm guessing the Storm offered him a base salary with bonuses per match played) and the Storm admitted that they hadn't budgeted on him playing as many games as he has (I'm pretty sure the article said he'd played 17 games so far).

Upshot of this is that I expect he won't get any more game time this year unless Storm are really short on numbers due to injury/suspension.

i also heard early in the season that storm could only afford to offer new contracts to 3 out of 4 forwards who were ending up this year

i think they were White, Cross, Crossman and Lima

ud think that bcoz cross has signed with knights then lima would get the new contract offer :S

Twilight sunday game?
Sounds a bit odd, bit hard to catch a regional train back if you go to Jim beam after party :(It'd be a good party too, minor premiership and all

Gotta get Blair back in top form.

Blair at top form is a must for the finals in the coming months.

I agree, we need Blair firing.  He gives our attack another edge with second phase play that we've been missing.
Someone show Slater videos of Robbie Ross backing up Steve Kearney and watch how many tries he coud score off Blair.

Sunday twilight against the Titans? That is bullshit - why didn't they just piss off Monday night football for the week and schedule another Sunday arvo game
Storming our way to glory!
