I agree, over-priced, but I didn't have enough $$$ on me today to get one and they said they'd only be available today.

I think that's bollocks!

Have we really got exactly 100 players playing for the storm in 10 years?

It's not the order they were signed AAS, just the order they made their debut for the club.  :)

I think Lazzo was the first actual signing wasn't he??  I'm sure someone will pick me up on that if I'm not right  ;-)

I think the first 17 all have the number they wore in Storm's debut match.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

I take no responsibility for the names on the list - in fact I would have to be sure that there'd be at least one player that's been missed - but haven't spotted one yet. I know we've had way more players on our books since 1998. But according to the club, in a really suspiciously round number, we've had 100 players actually put on the boots and run out in the ever-changing menagerie of storm jersey designs.

Order is as listed on the shirt, and coincides with numbers posted by TC yesterday. Kinda heartbreaking to see some of the more recent debutants having already moved on.

57. Keith Mason

Wasn't he the british import that never actually played any game time for Storm in the whole season?

There was a player (I'm fairly sure it was Mason) that was selected in the number 17 in our 2002 Round 26 clash against Canberra Raiders that I am sure Mupper left on the bench for the entire 80 minutes.

Tesesa Lavea was picked and spent the entire game on the bench. I had actually thought he played, and told him afterwards what a great game he'd had... must have thought I was a smart arse! ;)

English import you might be thinking of was Ian Sibbit but I'm sure he played some game time in 2001 - but not much... Dr Evil as we called him. (Think Dr Evil and his son around the board room table... "Zippit")

Ian Sibbit and Keith Mason Jnr were both English imports, I'm pretty sure they signed around the same time. I was pretty sure it was Keith in 2002 as I am sure I talked to him after the game outside Canberra Stadium when the players came out.

There was a member of the old MSSC forum that claimed to know, and be friends with, Keith Mason Snr. And claimed that both Jnr & Snr were dark on him signing a deal and not getting any NRL game time for his whole contract, yep more people that were dark on Muppet. In 2003 he went back to the ESL.

Also, on Tasesa Lavea, didn't he have a brother who played a game (or possibly two) for Storm?
