10th Year celebrations

Planning has begun for the 10th year celebrations of the club with the Round 15 game against the Dragons on June 23-25 being that date and game where the club will celebrate our first decade.

With the scheduling release changing this year, it is expected that the day and date of the game will be known by just after the round 4 clash (Easter) against the Knights.

Wonder what they're planning for next year for our 10th year of actually playing in the comp

I always have a laugh when people say that the club was established in 1998, which it wasn't......there is a range of merchandise with it on that I just can't bring myself to buy, because the year is incorrect.

Ahhh, note I didn't actually say established, I said playing we all know there's a difference between when the club officially formed and when they played their first game in the comp.
That's probably why so many people take 1998 as our first real year

You know, cos you don't count the first year til after it's been thru - like a first birthday etc

Every team celebrates their anniversary that way, they all count the first year they played.
Once this season is over you have played for more than 10 seasons.

This is our tenth season. But if Storm were a child, we'd be 9 years and 3 months. At the end of the year we'd turn 10. That's the kind of numbers that freak me out!

If we were a child we will be 9 and 7 months, since registration (birth) was late August 1997?

And if we were children we'd still be discussing this next week
