If anyone is interested in heading up for the game, Julie Tierney (ex MSSC travel gal) is trying to organise a bus up.  ;D

Please call Julie BEFORE 8pm tonight as she needs numbers to fill the quota.

She needs people who are definitely going, to call and discuss pricing etc.

Let's get the word out guys - we need Storm fans up there in force!  :thumbright:

From memory there were about 9 bus loads of Storm supporters in '99 - we need to better that  :D

There are still some $109 fares leaving Melbourne on the 30th flying with Virgin Blue (cheapest on the Sunday is $249). Otherwise bus or train might be best option

Julie has phoned me back. Apperantly there are too few in numbers.

It's sad tho - to think we may not have as many people as we'd hoped up there  :(

I can't believe there wasn't enough.  We had 6 of us trying to book, but were told the same thing, lack of numbers.  Poor form really that we couldn't get even enough for 1 bus.  And Dani, I was told it was tickets being organised as well, so I'm not sure what is going on???  Maybe not enough people knew about it?  I got a storm alert email that didn't have anything about it... maybe the club should have done some promotion of it on the website.  we're still planning on going up, but it would have been good to sit as a big group

I have a friend who has two return flights she's trying to get rid of: you'd need to change the return date, though, as at the moment it's Sunday.  If you want them, please let me know - I'll check back here throughout the day.

I think most people would have waited until they knew they had the tickets first and then would think about how to get there. Once they see most flights Sunday morning are sold out or expensive you might get a few more wanting to go up on the bus.

The sad part is that Jules needs to book the bus early, I hope maybe later in the week things could change but I doubt it - there's accommodation & everything else too  :(

Well guys - could be time to get a car pool happening...................
Also, I'm sure ppl staying in Sydney would offer up floor space if needed

I think it's ludicrous for supporters to have to try and organise this.

I've been at the Broncos trg sessions this morning and the club is organising buses and tickets through the Leagues Club, sore point I know.
