After our success with the supporters march it is now time to cast our eyes forward to the semis next week.
Friday, Sept 15
ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA v MANLY at Aussie Stadium 7.45pm
Saturday, Sept 16
NEWCASTLE v BRISBANE at Aussie Stadium 7.45pm
The Friday night match (to decide who plays the Storm in week 3) is currently listed to be televised at 1:05am. This will be following the riveting Miss Congeniality at 8:30pm and then American Beauty at 10:45pm.
We all need to ring Channel Nein this week to push them to bring the telecast forward, whilst it is not a Storm match it does directly affect our team as it decides who our opponents will be in week 3.

Straight after I ring the OP office to retrieve son's ball that was kicked up on the balcony after the game

We'd be better off calling & asking for
our prelim to be shown live................
Nine will do what they want anyway - but I'd rather see our game in 2 weeks as I wont be able to afford to go up for that one

All I've heard is that
the game failed to get any ratings yesterday in Melbourne
but no numbers as yet.

They continue to only have ratings monitors in the wrong household. Went and got my post-game pizza last night - not only did the best pizza shop in Melbourne have the game on live, but half the patrons asked me what the game was like, crowd size (they were impressed), and who else won. They also knew there'd be some other game on after midnight.
I know lots of people watched it - particularly after the dogs pies game became a blow out!
