who would we prefer to win Dragons or Bulldogs
This Friday night the Bulldogs take on the Dragons in a battle for second and the winner probably looms as our main challenger. Who would pepople prefer to win? I wish our game was on first because I would prefer a Dragons win if we win but a Bulldogs win if we loose. What do others think

ild rather play the dragons...the doggies pack is strong! Very strong! and they are going real good. Dragons have been playing good but i believe we have a better pack and our halves have been more consitent.

Dragons, definately the Dragons!
The Bulldogs are NOT allowed to finish second.

I'd definately prefer Bulldogs to beat Dragons. The bigger the difference we maintain between first and second the better.
We have some very tough away games (and tough homes games to be sure), that to finish as minor premiers should be our first priority. I see the Dragons as the real threat to beating us to the minor premiership, especially if we slip up against them and the Broncos away from home in the next month or two.

A win to the lizards means two teams pushing us from below.
A win to the dogs would mean three teams.
But really it doesn't matter !!
Our "first priority" is playing & beating Newcastle next Sunday. After that our "first priority" is playing & beating Cronulla. After that our "first priority" is...................................
Well you get the idea

I like that idea very much.bourbon_rat wrote: A win to the lizards means two teams pushing us from below.

If the Bulldogs and Broncos both win this week and the Storm win then we will have a 6 point break over those two teams and the Dragons. So with that gap over those teams with 7 games to go (4 at home) then we look in the box seat to finish you know where and a Sunday 10th of September home final (3.00pm) at Olympic Park.

I pick a draw.

Hopefully the Bulldogs win, the bigger the gap between first and second, the better for us.

That's only if the Storm beat the Dragons the weekend the Dogs have the bye.Mikey wrote: Lets remember the Doggies have a bye in hand so there really 2 points ahead of what they are now
This Friday's game really only has a bearing on the final placings when you take into account all the other battles between the top 4 sides in the upcomimg weeks. I can't see places being settled at all until after August 13 when all four play off against each other.

Both on a role are a serious threat.
Funny enough But I don't think the Knights are gonna be a gimmie either this week.
