Not a real expert on Chev Walker but I think he'll make the transition from ESL to NRL fairly smoothly.
I've seen him a few times on the ESL games on Foxtel and from the highlights he looks like a good player.
I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Storm jersey but not if it means we lose Jake. Chev's not as big as Jake but IIRC he is faster than Jake (but I stand to be corrected)
Maybe Marcus Bai mentioned how good Melbourne Storm is to Chev prior to his departure!

chev walker is a very good player, i have watched him off the bench a couple of times in internationals, he is exceptionally strong. i would certainly be happy to have him in the side, the added bonus being his utility value - if i remember rightly he can play certre, wing, and dummy half without too many problems

chev came onto the scene about 6/7 years ago as a teenager and was thought of as a great prospect. after a promising couple of years playing centre/wing his form really dipped. he moved into the second row/utility and has done really well. not seen him for about a year but think he would do well for storm.

Good player...excellent utility value but I think you'll find the Titans are the forerunners for his signature if he decides to play in the NRL....
I'd rather have Jake To be honest!

Doesn't look like we are missing anything as the bloke still seems to lack judgement.
In his past he had trouble with the law and now he seems to want to play RU!
No the guy was never for us.
Decent player but poor taste in codes!

In 2003, Leeds duo Chev Walker and Ryan Bailey, and Rochdale's Paul Owen were jailed after a drunken brawl which left another Leeds player unconscious with a broken jaw outside a Leeds nightclub.
All three returned to their clubs on completion of their sentences, and Walker and Bailey played for Great Britain against the Kiwis in the Tri-Nations tournament in 2004.
