cowboys V Melbourne
I think we have a problem hueston.
Team for this game?
King = out?
Webster = out?
Slater = out
Crocker = out or will be
Hoffy = backing up?
Geyer = backing up?
White = backing up?
Belly = away
Not what I would call the best prep for a top of the table clash.
What do you think the team will look like?
I think we can cover the forwards but we are light on for backs.
1. Greg Inglis
2. Jake Webster = ?
3. Matt King = ?
4. Chris Walker
5. Steve Turner
6. Matt Geyer
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Garrett Crossman
9. Cameron Smith
10. Antonio Kaufusi
11. David Kidwell
12. Dallas Johnson
13. Scott Hill
14. Ben Cross
15. Ian Donnelly
16. Jeremy Smith
17. Nathan Friend
18. Ryan Hoffman= Will cover for King/Webster
19. Best back from feeder clubs
Or somthing like that still not a bad team but I want that number one position so bad I can tast it.

if King and Webster are out, shift Geyer back to the wing/centre, Hill to 6 and Jeremy Smith or Jamie Feeney could come in at lock

Hoffman coming off the bench in the city/country match wont get alot of time, he will back up for sure, and I'd say White will be fine, he will get 20 mins at most
Geyer will be the only question mark, he will play 80.

Doubts also surround the fitness of Test wingers Jake Webster and Matt King, who missed Saturday night's 38-14 win.
King has damaged rib cartilage, but is considered some chance of playing against the Cowboys while Webster had scans last night on a bulging disc in his neck.
Cooper Cronk will also have further concussion tests today, and the halfback may need to be rested after receiving head knocks in consecutive weeks.

if geyer backs up:
then move hill to lock, put dallas in crockers spot...if hoffy doesnt pull up then put jeremy smith in his spot.
then you got shortland, smith samua, blair, cross, tagatese, anderson (is he still injured???) who are there abouts....im not to worried.

I noticed Jamie Feeney and Adam Blair were both at the Rabbitohs game. So they would probably be the next in line if some spots open up for them.

Update on injuries:

King was on restricted training duty yesterday, but hopes to overcome a rib cartilage injury.
"Mick Crocker had a similar injury earlier in the year," King said.
"He played a week later, so that is my plan. We have had a pad made up, so we will just have to see."
Webster had a neck scan yesterday and the results were encouraging.
"It showed some minor swelling around the disc but no structural damage, so we are hopeful by the end of the week we should have that under control," Storm physiotherapist Mary Toomey said.
Cronk has suffered heavy head knocks in the past two weeks, but he should play against the Cowboys.
Keeping the rookie playmaker on the field is a paramount concern for Storm, with his two understudies injured on the weekend.
Marc Brentnall, son of Storm development manager and former Test fullback Greg, tore his anterior cruciate ligament on Sunday.
He will require a season ending knee reconstruction.
In the same game for Storm feeder side Norths Devils, fellow playmaker James Aubusson suffered a neck injury and will require further tests.
Storm will decide today whether to contest Crocker's dangerous throw charge, but he is likely to have immediate knee surgery if he is suspended.
"He has some wear and tear there and it gives him a bit of trouble every week," Toomey said.
"We could get him through to the end of the year, but if there is an opportunity to go in and clean it up, it is something we'll look at."
