Storm leaving the Devils?
That is the rumour in this thread. http://forums.rleague.com/showthread.php?t=16751
It sounds like a few different people have heard about it.
I guess all the extra players would then play for the North Sydney Bears.

Hasn't the development and recruitment boundaries for each team recently changed with the view of the Gold Coast coming into the comp?
Could this, or is this to be behind the remour/fact?

Pity if it is the case as the Qld comp has been a great stamping ground for us and a tough competition for our young guys to come through the ranks to make them ready for first grade

However the Premier League competition in NSW is stronger as would be the Jersey Flegg competition for the younger players. So if all Storm players end up going to the Bears it would help them develop more than in Qld.Stormwarning[c] wrote: Pity if it is the case as the Qld comp has been a great stamping ground for us and a tough competition for our young guys to come through the ranks to make them ready for first grade

THANKS FROM THE AASHOLE OF THE BAI STAND

Given that the North Sydney Bears 'stated aim' is to have 'their OWN NRL side' Storm would have to be STUPID to commit all their young players to the NSW comp.AAS wrote:

Im pretty sure there was an article in the Daily Telegraph last season stating that the Storm were cutting ties with the Devils and that Nth Sydney was their sole feeder club!!
I was then confused when North Devils was still our feeder club at the Start of this season.
But from everything i have heard i think this is true

Hmm, perhaps it's time to bolster the ranks of the VRL comp with our reserve graders. That would sure boost the local comp and create some interest.
Only problem would be if they all played for the one team then it'd be a dead certainty as to who would win the premiership every year.
