i read that all nrl teams will have a new on field mascot for this year and they will be announced on the nrl fanday this saturday....wonder what we will come up with.

When I read Kingy's post I immediatley thought of Port Power's 'Mascot Mansion' character. And then I made him our colours... I hope they avoid anything to do with a lighting bolt head and just keep it modelled on Storm Man. Or maybe Storm Man riding a cloud, Monkey Magic style....
I was reading the Storm's wikipedia entry the other day and it lists our emblem as being 'Thor', which I'm not sure is correct, but would make for a pretty cool mascot.

Yeah but lotti, the Storm logo has our Storm man/Thor dude on it, he's holding the bolt. Can't change that - Zeus is waaay too old plus it's only an olympic year for the winter games - not the summer, which is the big one

ok summer is our main thing here but it's not like we've not been successful at the winter games, we've won medals including 3 gold.
