Has just been confirmed. Will stay on for at least the next three years in a coaching and development role. Real shame, reckon he had at least one more good year to offer especially given there is no immediate player pushing up to grab his spot.

A shame really. Kearnsy has been great this year. Everyone needs to get out there this weekend and farewell one of the remaining originals. Hopefully this inspires the boys onto a real big finals run and get him that title!!

Sad to see Kearnsy retire as a player, but I'm sure he'll be good for the Storm in his new coaching/ambassadorial capacity.

This is indeed a sad sad day! :cry: :cry: Another great guy is leaving the Storm as a player, he has always had time for a chat no matter what the result has been and time for any supporter!

I am so glad that we are not losing him altogether, the young ones will benefit from his experience and support in the upcoming seasons.

this is really sad news...i thought this day would come later rather then sooner......kearns is a great guy...and we are so lucky to have him stay for another 3 years in a coaching role.

i will miss you very much robbie :cry:

it makes this weeks game much more special.

Its great news for the club that Robbo & Kearns will hang around the club & with Kearney likely to return also the club's off field setup looks good.

Aaawww I thought (and was hoping) Robbie would go round one more year :cry:

He has been an absolute champion and I hope the boys give him a fitting farewell at our last home game on Saturday and go all the way from there! :D
