Wade Fenton (Steve Bell's Manager), has released a statement late last night saying Steve Bell WILL make up his mind on his future in the next couple of days.

Fenton said Bell is likely to sign a three year deal with South Sydney or Manly.

Although the Telegraph tells a very different story on Souths being the winner.

Also about Ben Ross:
Sky news just had a update and said that Ben Ross is likely to sign with the Sharks and not the storm.

Bell isn't that big of a loss if he dows go. Sorry to all his fans, but he's not a player I rate as highly as some others. Look, he may be a lovely bloke and great to talk to, but I find, he only plays when OK, when the teams is. I don't think he is worth the money that I think Fenton wants.

Out - Steve Bell. In - Greg Inglis. I can't see how we lose on that!

Also stormwarning - Wade Fenton, is he the same one that played for the Storm in 2000?

Nothing in the Matt King or Shaun Berrigan mould.

Manly are the Original ScumBags.
Always cashed up and ready to poach footy players from other clubs. I have never liked those dishonest plonkers, and I never will.

I don't know, the Manly of 2005 doesn't quite seem the same as the Manly of ten years ago.
Back then Arko was the CEO of the then ARL and all the ties that today seem to link to the Roosters then went with Manly. Through the mid 90's I couldn't stand Manly being the 'silvertails' or the club that got everything their way. Since then this team has had it's heart ripped out and been rebuilt piece by piece and I don't find myslef disliking them as much ... whereas in comparison to the Roosters the dislike has increased tremendously is this period.

Always cashed up? They were about to go bust a season ago before they were bought out by that Delmege guy.

Anyway back on topic Inglis seemed perfectly at home in the centres last week, I can't see you really missing Bell too much at all.
