What wasn't in the press release but has been confirmed for Victoria is:

- All Origins and Tests must start prior to 10:00 the night they are played
- All televised games by Channel 9 must be shown prior to midnight on fridays and sundays or MUST be given to ABC or SBS to be shown at Sydney/Brisbane times.

Excuse me becoming all legal here.

Does "must be shown prior to" mean

1. must commence before?
or
2. must commence before, and the entire broadcast be completed by?

It makes a big difference.

I know Monday night footy didn't really work when we were under the tin roof, but I use to love watching it (in what seems like) in the old days.

There seemed to be a bit more bite in the teams as they knew what they had to do to move up or keep their spot on the ladder and in the new stadium......bring it on

And a damn proud nut at that! You see, when your a nut it doesn't matter what happens, because you always smile and enjoy whatever crap comes along and laugh it off. It helps with our previous away record when you support the Storm too.

Just by saying "No alix wasn't drinking after the game" Cause i saw you every five minutes at social club

Back her up? To be honest I wasn't paying attention to what she, or anyone else, was drinking. All I can say is she didn't appear to be intoxicated.

Heard back from Polly McCardell today, the NRL media Manager, and her reply was;

It means 'must commence before'.

So they can schedule them at 9:59, or whatever it was.

That's what I was afraid of. Doesn't mean much does it? Channel 9 can still schedule the game at 11:59pm and retain broadcasting rights for the week because overage starts before the next day .
