The curtain raiser between NSW and QLD residents will feature a number of Storm/Norths contracted players. The standouts for City residents this year was Nathan Friend, Jeremy Smith and Anthony Boyd. If it wasn't for the fact that commentators always lather themselves up about the halves I would have though Boyd would have got the man-of-the-match award this year. Absolutely superb.

It will be a shame for QLD though that one or two of them may have to miss out when recalled into the Storm lineup.

Jeremy Smith is number 16 this week for the Storm, would he be available fo Qld? By the way, isn't he a Kiwi?

Probably. But it's a residents game. Not based on country or state or origin, just where you mostly play.

Apparently he had a minor knee complaint, but is not worried about missing SOO3 (i.e. he will not miss SOO3)...

He'll complain after he gets smashed by TC. No, not that TC, the other TC

I reckon I'd look good in a maroon jersey. And if I was in one I'd be more than happy to smash Johns! 8)

Oh bugger. I qualify for NSW. :?

Anyone going to the Rising Sun Hotel in Richmond tomorrow night to watch the game live?

I'm trying to decide whether to go there and watch it live or to a nearby hotel and watch the Ch Nein telecast at 9:30pm. My Ch Nein reception is playing up and has been for a week or so, I'm not sure exactly when as the only time I watch Nein is for RL matches and the NRL Footy Show.
