This will be the thread for all origin 2 discussions. It makes things easier for everyone to chat in one place rather than two separate threads. The others are locked as of now.

Kimmorley had to go. The only thing I'm surprised at is that NSW STILL didn't pick a prop on the bench. Game 2 and the series to the mighty maroons!!
Storming our way to glory!

I strongly considered putting the thread in the NRL section but seeing as Origin 1 thread was done here, the description for the forum does say "Discussion on anything to do with Melbourne Storm" and Kingy, Smithy and Billy are all part of the Storm, this forum seemed just as appropriate.

i hope nsw win game two just coz then it makes game 3 soo much more exciting. i really hope QLD win the series, but game 3 is so much more exciting if its a decider... just what i think anyway.. cant see myself bein too dissapointed if QLD win tho .

It's time for Queensland to sweep the series. I hope Fitzy and Hindmarsh work themselves to death in the first 20 minutes, like in game 1. That should leave them tired and vulnerable for the remainder of the game. Without proper front rowers and a small bench they could get rolled.

Don't underestimate the loss of Steve Price though, a few weeks ago Carlaw couldn't even crack the Broncos first grade side and now he's in OriginMS wrote:NSW has made a mistake again with the lack of big men.
They were lucky to almost get away with a win last time. QLD Big men will make 'em pay this time.

Me too, I have my tickets to Origin 3 and I'd love to see it as a decider with teams just that little bit more desperate for a win. I'm still annoyed I missed out on the fantastic game that was Origin 1 2005. I only hope Origin 3 will be as a good a game.nat wrote:i hope nsw win game two just coz then it makes game 3 soo much more exciting. i really hope QLD win the series, but game 3 is so much more exciting if its a decider... just what i think anyway.. cant see myself bein too dissapointed if QLD win tho .
On the otherhand maybe it's better that NSW lose, because if they win Anasta will probably be retained for Origin 3 (if he doesn't get hurt ) and that can't be good.
I'm still trying to decide whether I should go to this game or not, the only alternative is watching Souths for the third week in a row ... because a fornight without football is not an alternative

Noddy didn't deserve to be dropped.cam wrote:Geez some moderater you are, shouldnt Origin talk be in the "NRL Section"
Just kidding, no-one goes there anyway
Orford still isnt selected for Origin whats new.. i would have given Noddy another go.
That beign said, I hope they keep Anasta for game 3, 'cos we play the Bulldogs the weekend before it.
Glory, Glory to South Sydney!
