Well I know my prizes and budget do not even begin to compare with the Footy Show's, but everyone is welcome to join my tipping comp!
But seriously, what could possibly be the management's excuse for not classing Victorians as eligible!!!? What a joke!

They probably don't have approval from the Vic government to run the competition for Victorians.
I'm not fussed, I've already entered four online tipping competitions, foxsports, nrl, melbourne storm and one other one.

I emailed ninemsn, and got a reply saying it is due to the Victorian Government sector in charge of lottery, and that they for some reason do not process competition permits at the same speed as the rest of the country... one wonders if this would change for an AFL competition of some sort??

I just don't think it's a gaming issue. I just think Ninemsn couldn't be bothered actually getting a permit! Reason I say that is they're already getting (have got?) permits for the AFL comp. And you would think they were done at the same time.
